Thrustmaster Joystick Base

The Thrustmaster Joystick Base is an extremely rugged and heavy base for use with a joystick.  It works great with the Schuwirth-Joystick-Glider-Simulator.  

It is also commonly used with sit-in sailplane simulator rigs.  

The heavy metal baseplate makes it sit firmly on any surface, or your lap.  The baseplate can be removed for use in a sailplane simulator rig, or with the Condor-Desk-Mount.  Note that the Schuwirth-Joystick-Base-Adapter is required for connecting the Thrustmater Joystick Base to the Condor-Desk-Mount.

• Schuwirth-Stick-Glider-Simulator
  The Thrustmaster Joystick Base works great with the Schuwirth-Joystick-Glider-Simulator. It is the ultimate stick for use with soaring flight simulator software like Condor3. The Schuwirth-Joystick-Glider-Simulator is by far the easiest way to control the LX9070 in Condor3.  The stick attaches to the Thrustmaster Joystick Base easily and quickly - about 30 seconds.
  
  
  
• Condor-Desk-Mount
  Remove the metal base plate from the Thrustmaster Joystick Base, and use the Schuwirth-Joystick-Base-Adapter (see below) to mount the base to the Condor-Desk-Mount.  It's a very rugged and solid setup.
   
  
• Schuwirth-Joystick-Base-Adapter

• Joystick-Spring-Ultra-Soft
  The standard centering spring that is included inside the Thrustmaster Joystick Base is quite stiff.  It doesn't feel like the soft centering force found in most sailplanes.  This optional much softer centering spring makes the combination of the Schuwirth Stick-Glider-Simulator and the Thrustmaster Joystick Base feel much more like a real sailplane.  It also reduces fatigue - so you can fly Condor3 longer and with more comfort.
