Cable, 0.5 m (19.7 inches), PowerFLARM Core to 12V Power and LXNAV S7, S8 or S80, or LX EOS or FLARM display
The cable has a DB-9m connector for connection to the PowerFLARM Core, 12V power leads for powering the PowerFLARM Core (and connected devices) with 12V, and a 0.5m (19.7 inch) long cable to an RJ12 6-pin connector for connection to the GPS port on the back of an LXNAV S7, S8 or S80, or LX Navigation EOS variometer, or to a FLARM display. The power leads are 2 m long. This cable is a nice alternative to the simpler LXNAV-S7-GPS-PFCore
cable which pulls 12V power from the S7, S8 or S80 to power the PowerFLARM Core and connected accessories. The LXNAV-S7-GPS-PFCore cable causes the PowerFLARM Core to power-down when the S7, S8 or S80 is powered-down. The Goddard: Cable-PFLARM-Pwr-DB9m-S7-0p5 cable makes it possible to power the FLARM and remote flarm displays separately from the S7, S8 or S80. That is nice if you ever want to be able to power-down the S7, S8 or S80, but not the PowerFLARM Core. The 12V power connections in this cable are not connected to the 12V pins at the S7, S8, S80, EOS or Zeus.
