Replace Backup Battery and Reset Electronic Security Seal on GPS Flight Recorder
Backup batteries are used in all GPS flight recorders.  They will die eventually - usually after 5 to 10 years.  I can replace the battery and reset the electronic security seal on most brands of flight recorders.
