Firmware Upgrade for Soaring Instrument
I would be glad to install the latest firmware upgrade into your soaring instrument.  

Note: Some soaring instruments require chip changes for upgrade.  The cost of the upgrade service is the same, but there may be additional costs for the new firmware chip and shipping costs to get it to me.

Please include a check for $30 plus the estimated return shipping cost.  UPS Ground is usually less than $25 (with insurance).  If you overpay I will include a refund check in the box with the unit.

As an alternative to having me setup the soaring instrument here at my office, I often recommend phone support.  You keep the instrument with you.  I call you and connect to your computer so I can see your screen.  I then walk you through the instrument upgrade from here.  The advantage is that you don't need to pay to ship the instrument both ways, and there is no waiting for it to ship.  But the biggest advantage is that you learn how to do the instrument upgrade while we do it together.  That way it serves as both support and training - so you can do it yourself in the future.  It usually takes 1 hour of phone support ($40) to get the instrument upgraded.  Therefore, it costs much less than it would to ship the unit to me, have me set it up here and ship it back to you (about $80).
