The excellent book Sailplanes 1920 - 1945 by Martin Simons includes an excellent write-up, photos and scale drawings of this glider.  A quote from the book, "Jacobs developed the Rhönbussard to produce the Rhönsperber in 1935.  This entered production with Flugzeugbau Schweyer, who built about one hundred... The type became popular and was used for some outstanding cross country flights, especially notable being Ludwig Hofmann's 1935 world record, 474 km into Czechoslovakia.  This was the first soaring flight to exceed 400 km but the record only lasted a week."
