Overview
Torgoen makes high quality, stylish "pilot" / "aviator" watches.  The offer exceptional value.  They are very rugged and accurate with Swiss-made quartz movements that run on batteries - so you never need to wind them.  They come in many functional styles with many features found on very expensive pilot watches - such as chronographs, alarms, multiple time zones, and even E6B flight computer/calculators.  They are styled to make it clear that you are a pilot. 

T30 Collection Overview
The T30 collection takes the simple, classic look of the T10 and adds an alarm and a 24 hour hand for a 2nd time zone.  Pilots often set the 2nd time zone to UTC (Zulu) time, but it can be set to any time zone.  The alarm is used with the 12 hour dial - so it will go off twice a day if enabled.  I find it very easy to set the alarm quickly - much more quickly than setting an alarm on a digital watch.  The simple, elegant designs are very much like a well designed aircraft instrument.

User Interface Overview

• Small sub-dial at top/right: time/clock seconds
• Bottom center: Day of the month (6th shown)
• Orange hand with "24" at the base: 2nd time zone, can be set to any time zone.  Commonly set to UTC (Zulu) time for use in the cockpit.  Shown pointing to 14:00 hours.
• Orange hand with arrow head: Alarm, 12 hour repeat, Use the hour tick marks (not the 24 hour tick marks) to set the alarm.  It is shown set to about 4:40.  Because it uses the 12 hour scale rather than the 24 hour scale - it is twice as precise.  The alarm is enabled (2 beeps) and disabled (1 beep) using the lower right button.

T30302	T30302 - Pilot Watch with quartz alarm and 24 hour 2nd time zone with black case, sand/ivory dial, black markings and black polyurethane strap This is uniquely colored watch with alarm and 2nd time zone.  It is difficult to describe the color of the dial.  It is a little brighter than "sand" or "Ivory".  I'd say there is a slight peach color in it, but that is not quite it either.  The color of the photo at right is accurate on my computer screen.  It is reminiscent of an antique or classic aircraft instrument.  At night the hands glow brightly and the tick marks glow dimly.  The 40 mm diameter crystal is quite large, so this watch will get noticed.  Yet the simple design is not pretentious or gaudy.  It clearly states that you are a pilot - and used to easy-to-read dials.  The round style makes it appear less large than similarly designed square faced watches.  I really like the alarm feature of this watch.  It is easy to set quickly - much easier than setting the alarm on a digital watch.
