I made it around a 200K triangle yesterday (9-29-99) at 54.19MPH. No ballast, so it should be a Std, 15M and sports class record. It was surprisingly good. And October almost! I stepped in a hole near my second TP, otherwise I think the flight would have been in the mid-60s range. There was an awesome street all the way home and I held between 80-100kts for over 25 miles! I even video'd about 20 minutes of the flight including the last 25 miles. Bases got to 6500AGL and decent lift averaged 5 kts, but I regularly saw 8-9 kts for a few turns and for long stretches during the run home under the street. Water would have been nice, but it would have frozen, like my feet! It was 26 degrees up there! The video shows cruises of 85-95 knots with the vario reading 6 kts UP! Gotta love that. :-))))))))))))))))))) Take care, Don
