The Elbow Room Restaurant Menu - Delivered to Elks Club for Us
Famous for hamburgers/patty melts fries etc.  Wine & beer available, A throwback to the 1950s.

Since the early 1950's The Elbow Room has been a cornerstone of Albert Lea, MN. For the past 34 1/2 years Vic and Mary Nelson have been satisfying Albert Lea's cravings.
The Elbow Room has been offering residents and visitor's alike some of the best burgers to be had in the area, and continues to do so today.
The Elbow Room has also been mentioned in “Searching for the Holy Grill: The Most Divine Burgers in Minnesota, Wisconsin and Iowa,” by Jeff Hagen, in 2004 for one of the best burgers in the tri-state area.
Although the Elbow Room Burger is our signature trademark, we have a great regular menu to choose from as well.
Whether your taste is burgers, a Philly steak sandwich, a good old fashioned patti melt or a home cooked breakfast, The Elbow Room still aims to please.

Special Guest Speaker: Michael Bird - Michael will be flying in the Region 7 Contest with John Earlywine in John's DG-1000. Michael is known around the world as the author of the popular "Tail Feathers" (by "Platypus") column in Sailplane & Gliding magazine (U.K.) and author of the book "The Platypus Papers - Fifty years of powerless pilotage". His miscellaneous soaring related written ramblings have made me laugh out loud on many occasions. I was fortunate to hear him talk a few years ago as the main speaker at an SSA Convention Banquet and found his talk very enjoyable.

The banquet is to be held after the end of the Region 7 Contest and during the 18 m and Open Class Nationals. The banquet is open to anyone interested in attending. You do not need to be a contest competitor or crew or contest volunteer. There will be a sign-up sheet for the banquet available at the start of the contest. If you won't be there at that time please let me know if you are interested in joining the fun.

Sign-up list (for people that won't be at the contest site at the beginning of the contest)
