The front and back cover notes give a good overview of the book and the
author. It is a great book. I particularly like how he
documents the process of his learning to fly gliders. I also like
the part where his mother sees him fly a glider for the first time.
He also documents his first soaring contest efforts and the first time
he won a day at a contest. |
