Overview
Anderson Power Products' Powerpole connectors are elegantly designed little
connectors. They are designed so that they are color-coded (Red
for +, Black for -) and they are symmetrical in such a way that the same
connector type can be used on both sides of the connection. There
really is no "male" or "female" connector. Only one connector does
it all. Also, it is impossible to connect them incorrectly. They
only connect one way. Also, they are inexpensive - which is nice!
I stock only one size of the Powerpole
connectors. It is rated at 15 Amps - which is plenty for all
electronics in sailplanes.

Anderson Powerpole
Connector Kit, 2 Contact, 15 Amp
Kit includes all the parts for one red and black 2-conductor
connector as shown in the photo at right. You will need at least 2
of these for all applications. For example, you may want one on
your glider battery, one for connecting the glider electrical system to
the battery, and another one for the battery charger.
Included:
- Housing (red and black housings mated together
and secured with a "roll pin")
- 2 x metal contacts (crimp style)
